A Passion for Painting, Susan Edwards h-Art exhibition
We are excited to showcase Susan Edwards A PASSION FOR PAINTING Exhibition in the fantastic new gallery space at The Pavilion, as part of h-Art.
The exhibition covers all Susan’s life long favourite subjects, imbued with a joie de vivre in her signature expressive brushwork and bold colourist palette.
A PASSION FOR PAINTING is free to enter.
All work is for sale and the exhibition runs from Friday 5th September to Sunday 14th September, opening from 10am – 5.30pm, and is part of Herefordshire Arts Week, h-Art.

Hereford Military History Festival
The first ever Hereford Military History Festival will take place across the city from 26th to 28th September. A unique event celebrating the power of storytelling in understanding war, conflict and military heritage it will feature a fantastic array of well known speakers, including Ben Macintyre, Kate Adie and Nicholas Soames. Held at city centre venues, including the Town Hall, Green Dragon Hotel, Hereford Cathedral and the Pavilion, the festival brings together acclaimed authors, historians and military experts for three days of engaging talks and insightful discussions. Focusing on military literature, memoirs, historical analysis, and war writing, the festival offers a rare opportunity to hear from the leading voices in the field.

Milfest Family Fete
The Milfest Family Fete is a free community event delivered by Annam Events. The event specifically links with and supports the Hereford Military History Festival on Sunday 28th September, from 11am to 4pm.
The fair will consist of:
A children’s fun zone
Small breeds animal experience
DJ and local entertainment
A community charity and craft area
A fitness area for local sport groups
RSPCA Dog Show
Military books, vehicles and memorabilia
Displays by the Sealed Knot re-enactment group

Friends of Castle Green AGM
Our AGM will take place at 7pm on Thursday 16th October 2025 in the newly refurbished Pavilion.
All our welcome and light refreshments will be provided. We are always on the look out for new board members to help make a difference in our wonderful community, so if you are interested in standing for election please notify the Operations Manager, Katie Bott, by 2nd October in writing to katie@castlegreenhereford.co.uk with the names of a proposer and seconder, both of whom should be members of FoCG.
