As a community led group, Friends of Castle Green are always in need of volunteers. If you feel you can offer a helping hand then please get in touch. Some examples of where we might need help are:

Castle Green environs: Gardening, bench painting, painting railings, hedge trimming, mowing of the Club House grass. We hold regular volunteer days to help with managing the flower beds around Victoria Bridge and Nelsons Monument.

Newsletter: Coordination of delivery team and extra deliverers always needed.

Events: When we start doing events again we will be in need of people to help set up and take down equipment, marshalls and stewards, helping with raffles and rubbish collection.

Education: Do you have a skill that you could teach to others. We want to offer the community a wide range of activities. These could be classes, workshops or away days. Whatever you can manage.

Don’t worry about over-commitment. Volunteering can be for a set period, or as and when you like. We will add you to our volunteer database and get in touch when we need help. If you would like to be involved in helping the community then please email operations@castlegreenhereford.co.uk
