The Club House at Castle Green
The former Bowling Green and Club House was taken over by Friends of Castle Green in early 2024 for use by the community.
The Club House is a timber structured building with no frills, but a useful meeting space with access to power and water. The Club House can be hired by the hour by community groups looking for a basic meeting space.
The former bowling green is a large enclosed outdoor space, approximately 2000 square metres, ideal for outdoor events and community get-togethers.

Half day/evening rate (up to 4 hours): £25.00
Full day rate (up to 8 hours): £40.00
Club House and Bowling Green
Hourly rate: £30.00
Half day/evening rate (up to 4 hours): £100.00
Full day rate (up to 8 hours): £200.00
Room Description
The Club House consists of one large meeting room with kitchenette, plus two changing rooms and toilets. The large room is furnished with tables and chairs. Tea and coffee making facilities are available and heating is currently via electric heaters until the building undergoes refurbishment.
