Hereford Youth Canoe Club

Hereford Youth Canoe Club provides paddle sport opportunities for young people aged 11-18 on the River Wye in Hereford from its home of over 50 years, the Pavilion, Castle Green.

Run entirely by volunteer coaches, the qualified instructors teach kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding and water safety throughout the Summer months.

In 2025, the Hereford Youth Canoe Club benefited from an upgrade to modern facilities when the Pavilion building was refurbished and is now able to provide excellent facilities for the hundreds of young people that come through its doors each season.

Hereford Youth Canoe Club offers sessions on Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings from May to September. All other evenings are available for other youth and uniformed organisations to book with us.
