Who are we?
Friends of Castle Green CIC is a volunteer led community interest company that is committed to respecting the heritage of the historic Castle Green in the centre of Hereford city, making more use of the Pavilion and the park for the community, and improving and protecting it for future generations.
Why do we collect data?
We currently collect data in order to keep our members up to date with all news and correspondence relevant to Friends of Castle Green activities. We also use volunteers to assist in the running of any events, and hire out the Club House and Pavilion, so therefore need to collect booking data from any clients.
What do we collect?
Our data collection consists of names, emails, telephone numbers and addresses. We do not collect any further details outside of this.
Who is collecting this data?
Data is collected directly by our Operations Manager.
Where is data stored and for how long?
Our data is stored on our internal database. This data is not shared with any external parties and is used only for the purposes of Friends of Castle Green. Our membership data is reviewed and updated each year. Every 5 years we will contact those on our database to seek consent again for this to be stored. If anyone chooses not to consent, their details will be deleted. All those with access to this data understand and robustly adhere to this policy.
Data Rights
You have certain rights regarding how your personal information is handled and our data processing procedures ensure that you can exercise them. Please be assured that we will only maintain the record of the data for which you have provided consent. You can request your data to be updated or deleted from our database by emailing us anytime. You can also request to obtain a copy of your record.
