Hereford Military History Festival

The first ever Hereford Military History Festival will take place across the city from 26th to 28th September. A unique event celebrating the power of storytelling in understanding war, conflict and military heritage it will feature a fantastic array of well known speakers, including Ben Macintyre, Kate Adie and Nicholas Soames. Held at city centre venues, including the Town Hall, Green Dragon Hotel, Hereford Cathedral and the Pavilion, the festival brings together acclaimed authors, historians and military experts for three days of engaging talks and insightful discussions. Focusing on military literature, memoirs, historical analysis, and war writing, the festival offers a rare opportunity to hear from the leading voices in the field.
